Time difference: +2h to Zanzibar / Tanzania 

Language: The official languages are English and Swahili. 

Currency : Tanzanian Shilling (TZS), currently 1€ = 2637 Tanzanian Shilling 

Climate: Average temperatures are between 25 and 32°C in Zanzibar and between 19 and 29°C in Tanzania. 

Voltage: 230 V as in France, but with different plugs depending on location. As a precautionary measure, we advise you to bring an adapter. 

 Health: No vaccinations are required, but it is advisable to be up to date with your French compulsory vaccinations. 

 What to bring: Swimsuit, sun cream, mosquito repellent, hat, sunglasses, sneakers, small backpack for safaris, beach towel... 
Formalities :  Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after your return date, and include 2 blank pages for French, Belgian and Swiss nationals. 
For other nationalities, please contact CEGID as soon as possible to help you with any administrative formalities. 

An e-visa is required for entry into Tanzania, so please go to https://visa.immigration.go.tz/ to complete and pay the $50 USD fee (which can be covered by an expense claim). 

Please send us an e-mail confirming that your e-visa has been validated by the authorities as soon as you receive it, and no later than one week before departure.

Departure: AIR FRANCE - Flight AF877. 
Meeting point at Roissy CDG airport, Monday March 17 at 07:00, Terminal 2E in front of the check-in counter. 
The flight departs at 10:10 a.m. and arrives in Zanzibar at 9:10 p.m. the same day. 
Luggage: You can take one suitcase weighing 23kg in the hold and one small piece of luggage weighing 12kg in the cabin. 

Please arrange your own transfer to Paris CDG airport, based on the above meeting time. You may be charged for this journey, but the cost of your accompanying person will remain your responsibility. If you need to book a hotel room at Roissy the day before departure, this may also appear on your expense account.

  • It will only be possible to postpone the outward or return flight of the group. 
  • No change of itinerary will be possible, only dates. 
  • Any change will be subject to a minimum fee of €50 + a possible fare readjustment communicated by the airline.
  • The change will be subject to availability at the time of confirmation by email of the supplement by you. 
  • Any supplement validated by you must be paid by bank transfer to the travel agency at the time of booking. 
  • CEGID will not assume any costs related to your request.
